"Returns process was a pain"
I ordered a jacket from Ellis Brigham, but it didn’t fit, so I packed it up and sent it back the very next day.
The returns information wasn’t very clear, and I ended up having to pay the postage myself. After that, I heard nothing for ages. When I emailed, the reply was basic and didn’t really tell me what was going on.
The refund did come through in the end, but it took far too long. the whole thing felt like a preventable hassle. I probably wouldn’t order from them again unless I was completely sure I wouldn’t need to return anything.

I kept checking for updates, but the tracking just never changed. Not sure what was going on, but it was frustrating because I had no idea where my order was or when it might show up..

I had to use the warranty on a jacket I bought from Ellis Brigham. To be fair, the staff were friendly and they did sort it out in the end, so I can’t really complain too much. It just took longer than I expected, and I had to chase them a couple of times to find out what was going on. The aftercare wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been clearer and a bit quicker. Overall it was okay, just not as smooth as I’d hoped

I’m still waiting on my refund, and it feels like it’s been taking forever. I get that these things can take a little time, but I expected some kind of update by now, if that makes sense.

"I really wanted to like these boots..."
I really wanted to like these boots because they looked nice right out of the box. Maybe I was a little too hard on them, but after just two walks, the stitching already started coming loose. I’m not sure if I got a bad pair or what, but they didn’t hold up the way I expected.

I was really hopeful because they told me to size up, and for a second I thought that would solve everything. But nope, I put the boots on and my toes were still getting crushed. Super disappointing, especially after trusting the advice

I ordered from ellis-brigham.com assuming it would show up in a few days, but it dragged on for ages. The tracking barely moved, and it felt like nothing was happening until I pushed for an update myself, which makes you wonder if it would’ve just sat there otherwise.
By the time the parcel finally arrived, I didn’t even need it for my trip anymore. Really frustrating experience, and it did feel a bit like they were happy to take the order quickly but not quite as bothered about getting it delivered on time.

The site was easy enough to use, but the size I wanted kept showing as out of stock, which was a bit frustrating. I did find another option in the end, so it worked out, but still... a little annoying really.

"Website was hit or miss"
I tried to buy a pair of boots, but the website made it way more frustrating than it needed to be. It kept freezing, and every time I used the filters they’d just reset, which got old fast. After about 20 minutes I gave up. Maybe it works fine sometimes, but for me it was a total miss

Well... I was hoping customer service would be able to help, but they really didn’t do much for me. The whole experience felt useless and left me frustrated

"Got the wrong jacket and it was frustrating"
I ordered a size 10 jacket, but what showed up was a size 8 in a completely different colour. it’s annoying because getting the size and colour right feels like the bare minimum. I contacted support and they basically said something like, “Sorry about the mix-up, we’ll look into it,” which was fine, but it still didn’t make the hassle any less frustrating.

I bought this from Ellis Brigham thinking it would be worth paying a bit extra, but honestly, it didn’t really feel like good value. I’ve seen similar stuff cheaper elsewhere, and the quality or service didn’t really make up for the higher price. It wasn’t terrible or anything, just felt a bit too expensive for what you actually get.
"Unhelpful staff and poor service"
I went in to have a look at walking boots and felt like I was being a nuisance just for asking normal questions. One member of staff gave me really short answers, then wandered off even though the shop wasn’t exactly packed.
I had to keep chasing someone just to check sizes, and nobody seemed that bothered. I’m not expecting a personal shopper or anything, just basic help when you’re looking at fairly expensive boots. Ended up leaving without buying anything

I went in hoping to get some advice on walking boots, but left feeling annoyed. The staff member didn’t seem too sure about basic fit and was mostly checking labels instead of actually helping me out. I asked about waterproofing and sizing, but the answers was really vague. It felt like they just wanted me to choose something quickly and move on. I expected better from a proper outdoor shop.

"The Boot Fitting Saga Continues"
I really wanted this to be the moment my boot problems were finally over, but sadly, no. Even after the fitting, they still hurt, and I left feeling disappointed. I expected a much better fit and wasn’t very happy with the experience.
